Living Arrows: Week Twenty One

Last week’s birthday celebrations showed just how lucky a certain someone is… from books to trikes and cars to, well, cars, it’s safe to say that we have enough toys to last a lifetime already. It’s been funny watching him play with new toys, some he loves and others he completely ignore only to become obsessive about them a couple of days later. That said, there’s one thing that he’s COMPLETELY in love with. No, not the wooden toys I keep pushing hopefully in his direction… he’s obsessed with his Little Tikes Dino Car!

Living Arrows: Week Twenty One

It’s the first time I’ve really known him become attached to something. I continually find him just sat in it, opening and closing the door, which apparently is the most exciting thing ever. That combined with his new ‘brrrrrrum’ noise as he sits there makes the whole thing unbearably cute. Seriously, it’s too much for me to bear, look at that face!

In other news this week, I managed a night out with some of my mum friends from baby group! It’s the first time that we’ve all met up without babies and it was WONDERFUL. Over dinner we put the world to rights; it was funny, loud and completely liberating. Sometimes it’s important to step away from the baby, scrub up and take a bit of you time, even if I did feel a little less than bright the next morning!

I know… Poor kid thinks you can drive by hanging out the boot and screeching until someone pushes you…

It was the best thing in a long time, we rarely make it out especially at the same time these days! So nice to combine that with the gorgeous weather too!
