It’s Coming… The Aldi Baby & Toddler Event January 2018!

Like everyone, we’ve jumped on the January bandwagon… healthy eating, more exercise and attempts to tighten our belts a bit more. It’s worrying where our money goes sometimes and whilst I’m pretty good at saving, I know we spend far too much each week with our supermarket shop often hovering around £80. This year, with another one on the way, I’m determined to stick to shopping lists and meal plans as well as taking advantage of special offers wherever possible.

That’s why I’m (ridiculously) excited at the upcoming Aldi Baby & Toddler Event. Kicking off online from 11th January and in store from the 18th, it’s a chance to stock up on essentials for babies and toddlers without breaking the bank. Here are a few of the offers you can look forward to seeing this time…

Essentials

With snacks from Organix through to healthcare essentials such as the Calpol Vapor Plug-In, it’s a great time to stock up. Not only that, there’ll be savings on their existing Mamia range of award winning nappies, wipes and foods. That’s the bit I look forward to most; stacking our trolley high with boxes of nappies and wipes ready to see us through the next few months. With a newborn on the way as well, we’ll be stocking up on two sizes this time… eeek!!

Furniture

The exciting bit. This time, Aldi are including nursery furniture in their Baby & Toddler Event. Beautifully designed in a (thankfully!) neutral white, you can kit out your nursery with a wardrobe, cot bed (with drawer) and changing unit for just £349.97! Aldi are also offering a moses basket, wooden highchair and even a safety gate meaning you can cover off all of the must-haves in one place.

Toys

If there’s one thing you can guarantee, it’s that every trip to Aldi ends with my son desperately clinging on to a book or toy. If there’s one in the shop, he’ll find it. We love their story books so I’m pleased to see that these will be back on offer – they’re perfect for leaving in the back of the car to entertain him on longer journeys and a steal at £0.99.

Travel

I’m looking forward to this one. We’ve used the Hauck buggy from Aldi before when we’re travelling and it really does perform well. This time Aldi are offering both the ‘Sport’ and the Hauck Shop N Drive Travel System so there are plenty of options dependent on your needs. Finally, there’s a 3 in 1 Baby Carrier for just £13.99 – a real bargain!!

As much as I’d love to, I can’t talk about them all, especially given that there’ll be even more in store, so I’ve popped a list of my favourites below along with their prices… right, now to find someone to have the toddler so I can shop the event in peace!
