You may have noticed things have been a bit quiet here on the blog of late. For once, I can genuinely say I have a good excuse. Our little one made an appearance. Finally!
Exactly two years, three weeks and two minutes after we became parents for the first time, we became parents again. Apparently I have a thing for delivering babies in the earliest hours of the morning! So, at forty two weeks gestation, our little girl entered the world. That’s right… our mystery bump turned out to be a girl!!
After a slightly frantic end to her delivery, we needed a little longer than intended in hospital to ensure she was okay before heading home. Life with two kids has been anything but dull; from dealing with an adjusting two year old through to remembering the joy of night feeds but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I can’t wait for you all to join us on our journey as a family of four, just as soon as the newborn blur starts to lift. But in the meantime, there’s someone I’d like you to meet…
