Living Arrows: Week Thirty Seven

We seem to have developed a transportation obsession in our household. With his vocabulary increasing by the moment, we’ve skipped all of the animals and jumped straight into tractors, planes, buses, cars, bikes… if there’s a noise outside, we have to stand and assess what it could be! His favourite thing, apart from his Dada, is a tractor spotting. He’ll happily stand at our gate or window and point at them as they go past.

This week we went to visit a friend’s farm. Suffice to say, it blew his mind. Ignoring the cows and the sheep, he was completely enthralled by the tractors. So it was fitting that he cracked out another new word – ‘WOW’. For a good ten minutes all he said was ‘wow… oh wow… tractor… oh wow’. It was, I think, the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I find it completely amazing to watch him develop, especially when he picks up words like that from me or Dave. My favourite one from this week? “Dinosaur”. He rarely says Mama but he’ll chat away about dinosaurs for hours! Typical!
