Living Arrows: Week Forty One

This weekend’s adventures have seen us head out for a family day out at Pennywell Farm near Buckfastleigh. The little guy is tractor obsessed so it seemed only fair that we take him on a tractor filled day out! I’ll write about it properly at some point but despite the wet weather we had a whale of a time, it was a perfect place for little ones.

From small animals to pet and hold (or shout ‘MOOO’ at, very loudly…), through to a train ride which he loved and I found mildly terrifying, we all came back exhausted. We’re really noticing a bit of a development spurt at the moment, from being happy to run in to nursery to chatting more and more each day, he really is changing by the minute. Saturday was the first day out that we’ve taken the pushchair with us and not used it once. Insistent upon walking everywhere and then playing with his toys in the car, it was no wonder he was asleep in seconds!

The best bit? He would have probably been just as happy sitting on the tractor outside the main entrance. That truly made his day!!

It looks like you had a fabulous day out, he looks so happy on the big tractor. I think once they find the freedom from the buggy they don’t want to get back in. Have a lovely week x

WE’ve been there. It’s a nice little place. Tbh, N is exactly the same. It’s all about the tractors for him #livingarrows

It’s cute isn’t it? I think after a while he would get bored but for this age it was more than enough for him (and me!!)

Our boys are so similar!! Henry is tractor mad and was in floods of tears when we took him off a tractor that he was enjoying ‘driving’ when we recently visited a local farm! #LivingArrows

Oh we love a farm day out! Just so, so lovely! He looks like he had a great time – next time just take him to sit on that tractor x
