It’s official, we’re out of our house for the next couple of weeks whilst demolition takes place which means I’m writing this back in my childhood home. I’m not entirely sure my parents know what they’ve signed up for given that they’ve now got two adults, a toddler, another dog and mountains of child related paraphernalia in their house. We’ve been here less than 12 hours and I’ve already declared it a death trap! Thankfully, there’s nowhere better to be when the weather’s this good… their garden is far FAR superior to ours (as is their house!) so I’m looking forward to some much needed lounging in the sun. Or at the very least some slippery, sun-creamed toddler wrestling in the shade.
This week we’ve been to our local garden festival, helping with the setting up during the week before spending a lovely lazy Saturday there. Due to the heat, this little guy has been barely clothed all weekend. In fact, this is him well-covered in comparison! He’s become such a character over the last few weeks and is now starting to say words that mean things a little more such as ‘car’ and ‘book’. Even if he does label most things as car. It still counts! This week has seen the arrival of one of his back teeth as well but you wouldn’t know it from his mood. He’s genuinely in one of the happiest, most enjoyable phases I’ve seen so far. Unless you cross him. Then he’ll throw a tantrum worthy of an award.

Oh my! What an absolute mini-gent he looks there in his summer get-up. I wouldn’t have recognised him if he wasn’t on your blog! He’s looking at the camera too! Yaaay!x
He’s growing up so quickly, I tell you! And the hair is getting so so soooo long now I may have to give in and crop it!!
What an adventure you’re having this summer, he certainly seems happy and carefree in the garden.
Adventure is the right word, we’re all over the place! But it will be completely worth it!
I wish I could have been barely clothed all week – such a lovely photo! I hope the building work goes well x
Me too!! The fashion choices babies get away with is SO unfair!
