Living Arrows Week Fourteen

Living Arrows: Week Fourteen

It’s been all about anticipation this week with my little monster taking SIX steps on Wednesday… SIX!!! Luckily I managed to capture it on film. I was the only one there to spectate this miracle and he’s yet to repeat it in a more public setting. Typical! We’ve spent the majority of the week watching him closely but he’s not prepared to perform for us. Each time we sit there, phone camera ready to record, he quickly plops himself back down and laughs at us. We’ve started believing that he’s walking around perfectly when our backs are turned!

He’s also learnt a new trick of putting things on his head. He loves to copy people and came back from Grandma’s the other day having learnt this new trick! He’s not quite learnt when to use it, he just thinks any time will get a big round of applause, which is how we ended up with peanut butter in his hair… yum!

Also this week: us adults managed to sneak a night out which was fab. Unfortunately, we got back to hear that someone had been up for two out of the three hours we were gone with a tummy ache. Talk about major mum guilt!!! Even though he was sound asleep by the time we got home, I’ll admit to bringing him in with us for a feed and a cuddle. I pretended it was for him but really it was for me; I hated the idea he woke up confused and poorly whilst we were out having fun.

Please tell me the guilt gets easier?!

Oh bless him! He will be running around in no time. I remember the ‘everything on their head’ phase well – jam is always fun!! He is such a cutie! x
